G-D Mock Trial
Summary written by...
Angelina Leach and Eli Sun, Mock Trial Team Co-Captains
For the third year in a row, the Groton-Dunstable Mock Trial Team has won the regional competition and will be progressing to the State Playoffs at Clark University. Last season, the team finished in the Top 16 in Massachusetts. Our goal for this year is at least a Top 8 finish, though we are ultimately aiming for a State Title. Over the past six years, the team has grown almost beyond recognition; our writing has become more polished, our performances have become more compelling, and we are prepared to think on our feet in response to anything the opposing team may present. Every aspect of our analysis, content, and presentation has improved immensely, even since last year. It’s incredible to see how far each one of us has come, and even more incredible to see how far we’ve come as a team. Hopefully, this region win will be the start of our most successful season yet.
Good Luck to Coach Ian Wilkins and the team as they continue on their quest for a State Title!
