Freedom Falcon Parent Newsletter

Back To School Edition

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year Freedom Families!

I am so excited to be joining the Freedom Falcons family!

Freedom is a school community committed to every child's learning and heart. Our theme this year is "We Are Stronger Together"! Working together, we can achieve our mission to dare to empower the whole student to impact our world profoundly. We will be challenging our students to adapt to evolving challenges innovatively. We will actively pursue learning that continually challenges students to grow and achieve their personal best. We will develop personal, social, and cultural competencies and apply them intentionally to their lives.

We strive for excellence at Freedom Elementary. We will accomplish this through a challenging academic program, engaging the student through relevant instruction, and encouraging a love for learning. We will also be creating a safe learning environment for your child. If we are not meeting that expectation, we ask that you communicate with us so that we can improve.

Please know that this is a partnership to help your child grow. As we have overcome many obstacles in the past, we are excited to tackle the challenges ahead. This can be accomplished by being actively involved with your student's education.

We look forward to the many opportunities to collaborate this year and create new memories with the Freedom family.

We want to welcome you to Freedom Elementary! If you are a returning family or if this is your first year at Freedom, we are excited to work with you to achieve great results. Please know that our doors are always open for communication, and we look forward to partnering with you in your child's education. Please look for opportunities to participate in the Parent Teacher Organization, the SAC, and/or volunteer opportunities.

School Supplies

Our outstanding teachers came in today to create grade-level supply lists. Our teachers wanted to ensure our families got the best deals on school supplies rather than waiting until the first week of school. Bring your student's supplies on the first day of school, not at meet your teacher's night. Thanks, Freedom teachers, for being so great!
