Bobcat Connection
Learning. Growing. Collaborating & Achieving @KrumHighSchool
September 24, 2018
Hello, Bobcat Families.
We have had a great week at Krum High School. Our students have performed very well in extracurricular events and the classroom.
On Monday, September 24, 2018, is a student holiday so staff can analyze student data and plan accordingly. In this week's newsletter you will see the latest happenings at KHS, Homecoming news, as well as general information for students. Thank you for allowing us to brag on our students and staff.
On Tuesday our students will receive their progress reports for assignments taken during the first six weeks of the grading period. This is also an eligibility check for UIL participation. All of our teachers all have email addresses. Email is often the easiest form of communication should you have a specific question regarding your student's performance in a class. Please do not hesitate to contact your student's teacher at any time.
This week is Homecoming week! We hope you will join us in celebrating the pride that comes from being a Krum Bobcat. We have a strong tradition of excellence and many reasons to celebrate! Whether you are a student, parent, alumnus, or community member, we hope you will join us as we celebrate.
One of the things we are monitoring this week is the weather, if it appears that inclement weather will prevent the parade and bonfire from occurring on Wednesday, we will make an announcement at noon on Tuesday. We invite you to join us at 9:45 on Friday for a pep rally to support our Bobcats and Lady Cats. The Ranch 95.9 radio station will attend our pep rally and game as they decide which area school has the most school spirit. The winning school will win a concert by Casey Donahew and a $1,000 scholarship to a college bound senior. For more details on how to win go to: http://www.959theranch.com/friday-night-lights/. Let's show our KRUM BOBCAT SPIRIT!
On behalf of the faculty and staff of Krum High School, thank you for sharing your family with us.
Go Bobcats!

With that said, we need a lot of random things. Mrs. Bush stated, "I could post a list of items, but you'd get tired of reading it."
If you have items that you planned on sending to Goodwill, please consider letting us take those off of your hands.
we need all sorts of furniture, nick-knacks, clothing, wall hangings, kitchen items, game room stuff, fake plants, rugs, clocks, pictures, frames.....you name it and we probably need it.
Theatre would LOVE the help and donations.
