April 2017

It's hard to believe April is already here! We have a few upcoming events that are sure to be great fun for all of our students. As always, we thank our volunteers for their helping hands to make our events so successful.

There are two PTO general meetings left for the school year. All meetings are held in the media center at 3:30. We look forward to seeing you there!

Spring Book Fair - Buy One Get One Free!!!

Now is a great time to stock up on your summer reading books. All items are BOGO. The classroom schedule is listed below as a reminder.

There are a few available times to help out at the book fair. Please remember, all background checks must already be on file at the school.

Grandparents and Special Friends Night

Lincoln students are encouraged to bring their grandparents or special friends to school to enjoy a night of fun. Stop by the gym for a game of bingo and our photo booth to capture that special moment, the library to visit our book fair, and the cafeteria for refreshments.

5:00 - 7:00 pm

We are in need of a few helping hands to make this

event memorable for all that are attending.

Dessert Donations

We're looking for a few more dessert donations for grandparents and special friends night. Desserts will need to be at the school no later than 3:15 on Monday, April 10th and should be nut-free and store bought. Thank you in advance for your help in making this night special.

Little Caesar Pizza Kit Fundraiser

Your student should have already received the following letter and order form. If you have not - please email for an additional copy.

It’s Pizza! Pizza! Time! Time for you, your friends, and your family to stock up with Little Caesars Pizza Kits! Have them on hand for quick dinners, parties or entertaining! They’re fun to make and delicious to eat! We need your support! We are asking that everyone participate and sell 10 kits.

How: Collect payment at the time you take orders. Please make your checks payable to

Lincoln PTO. Please fill out the top portion of your order form with your name and your best contact phone number (cell phones preferred).

Accepting Credit or Debit card payments at

  • Click on -“Products” then “Shop

  • Select either- “Ship Order to the Group” or “Ship Order to Me”(via UPS for an additional fee)

  • Verify Fundraiser ID # 331994 to link the sale to your group

  • Customer can now select the items they wish to order and pay securely with a Visa or MasterCard, please make sure your name is provided in the seller field at checkout so that you get credit!

Day 4/16/2017 Fundraiser ends. Be sure your order form is correctly tallied!

Double check all rows and columns. Late orders will NOT be accepted. Orders to be turned in no later than Monday 4/17/17!

Day 4/27/2017 Pickup of Pizza Kits 3:30 – 6:00

Where: Pick up will be at: Lincoln Cafeteria. Please pick up your pizza kits as soon as possible. We will not be responsible for any kits remaining as we do not have storage onsite.

Auction Review

We would like to thank all of our Lincoln families, staff, and friends for attending our annual auction and making it so successful.

The evening was full of excitement and fun. The funds raised from this event will be used to fulfill capital improvements, support the One Book One School, Maker's Space, ongoing technology, support free family events, dog tags for all grades, P.A.W.S. redemption, staff appreciation and more.

Box Tops & Labels

We are still collecting box tops & labels for education. Keep sending them in with your child, every box top and label counts!!! The rewards we receive go directly back to the students and allow the purchase of jump ropes, basket balls, volley balls, chalk, hula hoops and other sporting equipment used during recess. The Labels for Education program will be ending and have one last opportunity to send in our labels.

Please send in all labels and box tops by Monday, May 1st.
