Book Fair

It's TRUE! Braelinn is hosting an IN-PERSON book fair! The fair will run from Friday May 14 to Wednesday May 19. All classes have a 30 minute block to shop the book fair. We will have a late night until 6 pm on Monday May 17.

Unfortunately, we will not have parents accompany classes on their shopping day. Instead, we will offer special parent shopping hours. If you are interested, you may reserve your time slot using this Sign Up Genius link!

This is a great time of year to stock up on books and goodies for the summer!

Book Fair fliers will be coming home soon in your child's bookbag!

All proceeds will go to purchase updated books for the media center. Reach out to Patricia Hipps with any questions!

Summer Sack Lunch Program

The Department of Family and Children's services along with local charitable organizations will be working again to provide summer sack lunches. If your family is in need of this program, please contact Mrs. Wible, our school counselor, as soon as possible for an application. The deadline is May 5, 2021.

Measureable Results Assessment (MRA) Survey

The MRA is a whole school survey that gathers teacher, staff, student (in grades 4-5), and students’ family perceptions of the social and emotional development of students, collective efficacy between teachers, trusting relationships, academic mindsets, student empowerment, wellness factors and much more. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey to give us feedback.

Families (All grades)

Cafe and Ice Cream are BACK!

In an effort to safely allow classes to get to eat in the cafe, we have created a schedule for two grade levels a week to eat in the cafe. For our larger grade levels/classes, we have split them into two weeks. Next week, it will be 3rd grade (McClanahan, Okoro, Sanders) in the Cafe.

We will sell ice cream to the assigned grade levels in the cafe ONLY. The homeroom teachers will let you know if they have set certain days of the week for ice cream. Ice cream is $1 and we ask that you please send in small bills.

BIRTHDAY ICE CREAM PASSES--If your child has a birthday and you would like to purchase ice cream for the class to celebrate, please send in $1 per student in the class and email the homeroom teacher to coordinate.

Happy Feet Club

*UPDATE: Please do not arrive/drop off students prior to 7:15. The front doors do not open until 7:15.

Now that the weather is good, we would like to host a modified version of "Running Club." It is going to be 1-2 grade levels a day to keep low numbers. This is simply for exercise and won't be run like Running Club in the past. We won't be keeping track of laps and parents do not need to sign up their students.

  • Starts on April 12th
  • Monday-K/1, Tuesday-2nd, Wednesday-3rd, Thursday-4th, Friday-5th
  • Time: 7:15-7:35
  • Students will drop bookbags in the cafe and go straight out to track.
  • Students WILL need to wear their mask when "walking/talking" to peers. If they choose to run on their own, they may drop their mask.
