Sukkot (aka the Feast of Tabernacles) commemorates the forty-year period in which the Hebrews traveled the desert to get to the land of Israel. It is also known as the Biblical Thanksgiving Feast which the Pilgrims actually based their holiday on!

Sukkah building & decorating: Sunday, September 27, noon, behind GAC (snacks provided)
Sushi in the Sukkah Shabbat Dinner: Friday, October 2nd at 7:00pm, meet in sukkah behind GAC , weather permitting, otherwise GAC 151 (other food is provided for you non-sushi lovers)
