Happy Mother's Day!

Thank you and Happy Mother's Day to all our moms and those who are our adoptive moms.

We know being a mother is not an easy job. Mary, our Heavenly Mother, understands as she had many events in her life that were challenging, but she said yes to God and relied on her faith that she was going to be a great mother to Jesus and all of us.

This weekend, we celebrate you!

Upcoming Events

Memorial Day Parade

Mark your calendars!

March in one or both of these parades with SFSS!

  • Waterloo -Saturday, May 27th (More details to follow.)

  • Geneva- Monday, May 29th starting at 10 am. Those marching in the parade will arrive at the Geneva Rec Center on South Exchange St at 9 am to line up.

Students can ride their bike, scooter, or be pulled in a wagon decorated in red, white, and blue. Or just walk the route. We will wear our SFSS Spirit Shirts. We will toss out candy in small bags with our school information on it and hand out to adults bottles of water with our school information on them.

We need

  • students and families interested in walking/riding in the parade. (You can walk in just one or both.)
  • donations of candy to put in our labeled bags. It's a good time to rid your house of individually wrapped Easter candy. :)
  • donations of bottles of water.

Kindness Calendars

Just a little reminder to continue to work on filling your Kindness Calendars. We ask that everyone do what they can. Every little bit helps us meet our fundraising goal.

Everything mentioned on the calendar in terms of school improvements we want to be able to accomplish in the future.

Don't forget there are activities that we will do in June as community service and the donations made for those activities help us be able to do them.

Kindness Calendars are due on or before June 1st.

Kids Bingo

The Sons of Italy will be hosting a Kids' Bingo!

June 4th from 12 pm to 3 pm.

The festival committee has sent home a letter and envelope with tickets.

They have been busy at work to make this festival a huge fundraiser success, but they cannot do it alone.
