Game On! Let's Create Champions!
Our Theme for the school year is Game On! Let's Create Champions!
Welcome to the Pony Family
Casey Winterroth-Meyer -Discipline & Parent Involvement Coordinator
My name is Casey Winterroth-Meyer (I go by Meyer because it's shorter)! I grew up in the HEB area and graduated from Colleyville Heritage High School in 2003. I then graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 2007 with a Bachelors in Behavioral Science. In 2015, I earned my Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism Interventions. Most recently, in 2018, I earned my Principal Certification.
This is my 11th year working in LISD and my first year at Lewisville Elementary School! Prior to this subject, I taught Academic Life Skills for 2 years, 2 years as a Behavior Intervention teacher, 4 years as an ELA Resource teacher, and BASE for 2 years.
In my "free" time I enjoy being with my family, which includes my husband (Chace, whom also works for LISD), our daughter (Riley), and our son (Logan)! I like reading romantic suspense novels, singing Disney song, baking, and watching all sports! My favorite t.v. shows are Impractical Jokers, The Good Doctor, and Hell's Kitchen.
If I had never become a teacher, I would have been an interior designer so I love all the shows on HGTV. My favorite food is anything that is NOT spicy and I have a soft spot for anything bread related. I would rather eat at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant than a big food chain any day!
The best parts of my life are being a mother to wonderful children, a wife to an outstanding husband, and an educator to incredible students!
