October is Connected Educators Month (CME)
The U.S. Department of Education's Connected Educators initiative has made October 2013 the second annual Connected Educator Month. During the month of October, there will be opportunities for educators to collaborate and participate in dozens of free events and activities on online to develop their skills and enhance their personal learning networks.

Discovery Education Joins in Connected Educator Month!
Discovery Education is a wonderful resource available to teachers and students at Chesterfield County Public Schools, and they are joining the Department of Education to support Connected Educators Month. Discovery Education is holding daily events specifically related to creative classroom lesson plan and creating digital projects with students.
