April 16th

So many milestones....

As we planned for this year, I made a mental note of certain milestones to mark our successes. April vacation was a BIG one! This is a turning point, a sign of change and new beginnings. Not many schools can say what we can say....we have been in school full time since September!

I'm thankful for our community and how far we have come together. I hope everyone has a restful vacation week!

With Gratitude,

Andrea Spaziante

COVID Procedures

As of April 26th, the RIDOH no longer recommends the taking of temperatures each morning. Therefore, we will continue with the same drop-off procedures, but without temperature taking beginning after spring vacation. We continue to ask that you check your child each morning and keep them home if they have any of the following symptoms:

Fever or chills

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Muscle or body aches

New loss of taste or smell

Sore throat

Congestion or runny nose

Nausea or vomiting

While everyone is happy to see some restrictions being lifted and vaccines being distributed, the state continues to have cases and many concerns with the COVID variants. Our current practices have allowed us to stay open even when there are threats of spread in our schools. Please continue to follow the guidance. We will continue to work with the RIDOH to analyze our data. Thank you for your support and patience.
