Dear Parents / Carers,
We have ended the autumn term with a creative week this week with all the classes having a Christmas crafts day. I have been very impressed with some of the crafts I have seen this week and the levels of patience and craftsmanship needed to complete them. I hope you enjoy them too.
On Wednesday, the Blue Mustangs enjoyed a celebration for being the winning team this term - well done to them, and on Thursday we enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner in school. Thank you to the Friends of Kirk Fenton for providing a chocolate Santa for each child and to our brilliant kitchen staff for providing a wonderful meal for so many children and adults.
I hope you all have a peaceful and relaxing break and look forward to welcoming you back to school on Wednesday 4th January 2023 by 8:45am ready to start the Spring Term.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year

Thank you again to everyone who came to the Christmas Fair last week. It was fantastic to have an in-person event again, and see all the children enjoying themselves. We hope everyone had fun.
We can now share that through all the Christmas activities (raffle, fair and Christmas cards) we have raised an amazing £2,957.41. So a huge thank you to everyone who has donated and make purchases to help raise this money. As shared previously, we have paid for the coaches for the recent theatre trip and are hoping to purchase some additional Chromebooks for the pupils and also raise funds towards a cover for the EYFS playground so the children can still play outside in all weather.
A final thank you needs to go to all the teacher and parent volunteers who helped set up, run and clean up after the fair - your help was really appreciated! And also to everyone who donated bakes for the nativities and the fair itself - thank you.
We'll be back in January with updates on events planned for the next term - with something for both parents and children to enjoy!
We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas break, and the children enjoyed their chocolate treat from Friends with their Christmas dinner this week.
