Spotlight on Kindergarten
Earth Day was a wonderful day in Kindergarten! Ms. Sessoms and Ms. Chavis’ students enjoyed a scavenger hunt outside in the yard. They focused on comparing physical traits, such as the texture of sticks and flowers. Collaboratively, they designed and created a beautiful collage to display, which we all are enjoying! WE LOVE THE EARTH!
On Career Day, the children dressed for success! Imagine our delight as the teachers got to look into the future, and see the children all grown-up. From A- Anthropologist to Z - Zoologist, they showed up as their best future selves. We are looking forward to checking in on them 20 years from now!
The entire Kindergarten staff wants to send a special thank you to our Media Specialist, Ms. Tew for The Gift of Reading. She gave students their choice of two brand new books, and I assure you, they were very happy! Our students love reading, and they are becoming independent readers. Reading with your child at home is one of the many things you can do to increase their chances of being successful in school. Be sure to make regular visits to the NHC Library this summer!
The Kindergarten Team wants to send a BIG THANK YOU to our students and families for learning and growing with us this year. The 2020 - 2021 school year has been one to remember!

The mission of Wrightsboro School is to establish and promote a caring, engaging, and supportive environment that enhances learning and leadership for all.
Today we learn. Tomorrow we lead.
We believe children want to learn and lead and will take responsibility to actively meet goals that will help them succeed in the future. We believe teachers inspire success, and encourage a love of learning by providing a supportive environment that fosters leadership through instruction to meet the unique needs of each child. We believe families that work together with our school contribute to successful learning for every child.
