Classes "Locked" starting May 11.
Pushing students back to take tests before it's too late.
Why are students losing the ability to move freely?
While several students are faithfully taking tests as they learn the material, we have found that despite mentoring efforts, many, many students are choosing to skip tests in an effort to move quickly through the class. The problem with this strategy is that the content becomes so far past that a student is not as likely to do well on the assessment.
Therefore, we will be locking courses down starting Monday. Please watch this short commercial from Mrs. Stout - important points:
1. Classes lock down on Monday, May 11 forcing students back to the skipped tests.
2. MANY MORE testing spots! All staff is adding time to proctor!
3. Make up to 2 appointments, keep appointments, then add 2 more. Too many no-call/no-shows for testing!
