“Friday Night Rivals” visited Thomas this morning to promote tonight's football game between Thomas and Schroeder. Titans came out in force starting bright and early at 6am this morning and stayed right on through for the school day. Big thanks to our athletic department for organizing this event and to our parents for getting these Titans to school early. We know that was not an easy task!! Enjoy some photos from the morning:

Bald for Bucks during Homecoming
We are going Bald for Bucks to create a world without cancer, and we want YOU to join our team or donate to our cause. The money we raise will directly impact the cutting-edge cancer research happening at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and 13thirty Cancer Connect and support patient-care programs.
You can have your head shaved (can be a buzz cut) or you can also cut and donate your hair and not shave the rest of your hair.

Titan Updates
Marching Band continues their domination...
Last weekend, the Webster Marching Band competed in Baldwinsville, NY and remain in the number 1 position in their division for a 3rd week in a row - beating out Huntington HS, West Seneca HS, Horseheads HS, Orchard Park HS, Corning-Painted Post, Kingston HS, Sachem HS, and Rome Free Academy.
Webster will be competing in Oswego this weekend.

Cross Country
The Boys and Girls Will take part in the McQuaid Invitational this weekend! Good Luck!
Boys Soccer
The Boys beat Gates Chili Tuesday 3-1. Cory Jarvis scored two goals including a 35 yard rocket. Cory also tallied an assist. Jack Rider had the other goal for the Titans. Connor Fitch and Bryce Halsdorfer each had an assist on the night. The Titans hosted Irondequoit for Senior Night Thursday evening. The game ended in a 0-0 tie after two overtime periods. Jason Riek recorded the shutout for the Titans.
Girls Soccer
The Girls traveled to Gates Chili Wednesday evening. They picked up a 2-1 win. Catherine Rogers scored the first Titan goal early in the game. Riley Welch scored the second goal off an assist from Nadia Jaworowicz in the second half to secure the win. The Titans are now 4-5-1.
Field Hockey
The Girls Field Hockey dropped a game to Pittsford Sutherland Monday night 5- 0.
The Girls hosted Penfield Wednesday evening. They lost the game 3-1. The lone goal for the Titans was scored on a penalty shot by Ava Schillaci.
Girls Swim and Dive
The Girls beat Fairport 106-77 Tuesday night. Winners for the Lakers include: the 200 medley relay tema of Childs, Goodridge, Dinh, Willis 2:03.52; Vivian Nguyen won the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:07.48; Claire Gorton won the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:21.26 and the 100 Butterfly with a time of 2:02.58 ; Nakisha Dinh won the 50 freestyle with a time of 26:49; Melissa Robinson won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:57.33; The team of Nguyen, Robinson, Gorton and Martin won the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:49.99; and Jenna Goodridge won the 100 Breast stroke with a time of 1:17.85.
The girls won their second meet in a row, beating Penfield Thursday night 106-79. The winning swimmers included: The 200 Medley Relay team of Nguyen, Bedford, Dinh and Martin with a time of 1:58.31; Claire Gorton in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:58.50 and the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:20.96. In Diving Ashley LeClaire with a score of 243.8; Vivian Nguyen in the 100 Butterfly 1:03.01 and 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:04.06. Kylie Willis in the 100 Freestyle with a score of 57:31; and the 400 Freestyle relay team of Nguyen, Willis, Martin and Gorton with a time of 3:51.69
Girls Golf
The girls golf team won one and lost one match in a tri-match Monday at Mendon Golf Club. The team beat Pittsford 44-34. Mackensie Daniel and Abby Tebo were Co-Medalists shooting 47 for 11.5 points each. Haley Kucewicz and Raina Schubert both shot 49 for 8.5 points, while Isabella Giorgione shot 59 for 3 points and Macey Fox shot 62 for 1 point.
The team lost to Rush-Henrietta, 41-37. Scores for the match were the same, however, Mackensie and Abby scored 10 points each, while Haley and Raina scored 7 points. Isabella scored 2 points and Macey had 1 point. The team is now 10-3 overall and 10-2 in league play. The girls won against Fairport tonight at Webster GC Front 9 47.5-30.5. Mackensie Daniel and Haley Kucewicz shared Medalist honors shooting 45 each for 11.5 points each. Abby Tebo shot 49 for 10 points. Raina Schubert shot 50 for 9 points. Macey Fox shot 62 for 4.5 points and Isabella Giorgione shot 67 for 1 point.
The Girls Golf team secured at least a share of the County title with a win over Penfield at Eagle Vale (46-32). Haley Kucewicz (Schr) was Medalist for the match shooting a 39 for 12 points. Following Haley were Abby Tebo (Schr) 42 for 11 points, Mackensie Daniel (Schr) 43 for 10 points, Raina Schubert (Schr) 47 for 7 points, Isabella Giorgione (Thom) 52 for 4.5 points and Macey Fox (Spry) 58 for 1.5 points. The girls finished up league play with a record of 12-2. The girls lost to Mercy to end the regular season Thursday night at the Shadow Lake Executive course 51-27. Mackensie Daniel (Schr) was our low scorer with a 34 for 11 points (she beat Julia Zigrossi - she was pumped about that). Haley Kucewicz shot a 43, Abby Tebo shot a 45, Raina Schubert shot a 47, Isabella Giorgione shot a 52 and Macey Fox shot a 54.
The girls ended the season with a 12-4 overall record, 12-2 in County league play. Victor won their last three matches Thursday, so we share the County title with them.
Four of our girls will represent Webster at the Tournament of Champions at Monroe Golf Club Tuesday, October 5th. They are: Abby Tebo, Mackensie Daniel, Raina Schubert and Haley Kucewicz. These four will also be representing Webster at the Team Sectional Event held at Irondequoit Country Club on Sunday, October 10th. We are one of the top 4 teams in Section V that has earned the right to battle for the Team Sectional title.
Football
Football lost a tough game to UPREP last Friday night 36-0. The defense only allowed one touchdown as UPrep scored twice on punt returns and twice on interceptions.
The Team plays Webster Schroeder tonight Friday at the Thomas Titan Turf Stadium. Game time 7:30pm
Boys Volleyball
Webster Boys Volleyball defeated Rush-Henrietta in a three set sweep last night, with Ethan Williams and Calvin Lill leading the offense with 10 and 5 kills respectively. Bodey Groff, Nick Ange, and Zach Zian combined to hand out 21 assists while the entire team spread out 12 aces. Webster hosts West Irondequoit at the Schroeder gym Friday night at 7:00pm.
Girls Volleyball
The Girls played at Webster Schroeder Wednesday evening. They lost in 3 sets but the scores for each were close: 25-19, 25-20 and 25-23. Carolyn Mack had 4 aces, 3 kills ,18 assists and 6 digs. Taylor Howley had 7 kills, 7 digs and 1 block. Jordyn Lewis recorded 3 aces and 3 digs on the night.
Girls Tennis
The Girls beat Gates Chili in a match Monday afternoon 6-1. The Titans only loss that day was a 3rd singles forfeit. Cassie Spencer won 1st singles 6-0,6-0. Mady Kelly won 2nd singles 6-1, 6-0. The 1st doubles team of Abby Rich and Destinee LaJuett won 6-1, 6-2. The 2nd doubles team of Meghan Cummings and Mya Cacciotti won 6-4, 6-2. The 3rd doubles team of Sanjana Baskar and Maddison Blodgett won 6-2, 6-7(10-12) 7-4. And the 4th doubles team of Maloney LaJuett and Amber Ledtke won 6-1,6-4. The team is now 5-4 league and 5-4 overall.
The Girls lost a match to Mercy Wednesday afternoon 6-1. The lone winner for the Titans was second singles Mady Kelly who won 7-5, 7-5. The team played Hilton Thursday afternoon losing a close one 4-3. Winning for the Titans were Cassie Spencer 6-1,6-0 in first singles; Mady Kelly 6-1, 6-1 in second singles and the 1st doubles team of Abby Rich and Destinee LaJuett 7-6,(7-4),6-4.
