Fitness Friday
Fitness Friday has become a tradition at Erin School and this year it will again be our Fuel Up to Play 60 kickoff event for the whole school. It will take place on Friday, September 20th from 1:00–3:15 (volunteers meet in the gym at 12:30). For those of you that have not experienced Fitness Friday, it is an afternoon filled with movement, mentoring, healthy snacks, and lots of fun fitness challenges. We have many local businesses that partner with our school for this event.
We are in need of a lot of parent helpers to make this event a success. Your job would be to simply help supervise a station and encourage the students as they work on the fitness challenges. Please email Mueller@erinschool.org if interested. If you have question or know of any other businesses that may want to join or support our program, please let Tim Mueller know.
Come join the fun and help create another successful Fitness Friday. Thanks for your support and assistance in providing fun and beneficial activities for the students at Erin School.

Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures
Drop Off - The best place to drop off students prior to 7:30 a.m. is door 6. Door 1 and door 3 are unlocked at 7:30.
Any children arriving before 7:30 a.m. must come through door 6 (cafeteria). This means parents should drop their children off in the back of the school using the entrance off of Hwy O which is west of the school. If students enter through door 1 (Office), prior to 7:30 a.m. an adult must accompany them.
At 7:30 a.m., door 3 (Gym) will be unlocked. All students must report to cafeteria if they are not with an adult.
At 7:50 a.m., door 13 (Library/Kindergarten) will be unlocked. An adult will be present to greet the students who arrive. Parents walking their child in this door should park in a designated parking stall and make sure their car is not unattended in the fire lane. This is a drop off only lane.
Pick-up -
At 3:16 p.m. door 1 (Office) and 3 (Gym) will be opened.Click here for additional details.
Quick Reminder-
If your child's end of day plans change from your normal dismissal routine please send a note with your child. We will always follow the "normal routine" unless we have a note. If your plans change once your child is already at school, call the front office to communicate these plans. If your child will be getting off at a bus stop that is not their normal assigned stop, they must have a note from their parents which they should bring to the office to ensure the bus driver has the correct notice. Texting or calling your child's cell phone with permission is not an acceptable way of giving permission to the bus driver to let them off at a different stop. All "change of routine" calls should be made as soon as possible and preferably before 2:00 PM. As I am sure you can imagine, the beginning of the day and the end of the day is quite hectic.
