Breakfast & Lunch for Students
Anderson Five Culinary Services will continue to provide students with breakfast and lunch meals during school closures. Meals will be prepared in our school cafeterias by our certified Culinary staff, and will then be distributed to students via delivery or pick-up method. Students must be present at time of retrieval.
•Delivery:
Transportation Services bus drivers will run their regular bus-route(s), making stops at their regular destinations delivering food to students 18 years or younger at their normal bus stop.
•Pick-up:
Meals may be picked up in the car line of the following schools: Calhoun, Whitehall, Glenview, Robert Anderson.
Students can receive breakfast and lunch at the time of meal delivery/pick-up. This process will continue Monday-Friday, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm, until the reopening of schools. Students must be present at the time of retrieval of their meals.
Thank you to our fantastic cafeteria staff! We appreciate all the work you do!
eLearning Assignments, Grading, & Attendance
Assignments - Assignments given during eLearning will be graded and recorded in the grade-book. All assignments are due within two days of being assigned in order to receive full credit.
Grading - All eLearning assignments will be graded as a daily or minor grade.
Attendance – All students will be counted present during the school closure.
Valuable Information for Students Without Internet
If you do not have internet service at home, there are a few options students may be able to use.
1. Most cell phone services allow you to use your phone as a hot spot temporarily.
2. Internet is available near the building, so students may be able to access the internet from school parking lots.
Once students access the internet, they may download the documents they need and work on them offline at home. Offline access information is listed below. Lastly, Charter Spectrum is working on opening internet service for all during this crisis. We are hoping they work swiftly.
Technology Tips
Some of your teachers may ask you to take a screenshot of your work and send it to them. Below is a video that demonstrates how to take a screenshot on a Chromebook.
How to Take a Screenshot on a Chromebook
If you or your student is having Chromebook issues they can contact the District Technology Depot at 864-222-4911 located at the District Office. Technology support will be available from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.

Media Frenzy Vs. Fact
There is an awful lot of information pouring in from a wide variety of media outlets. When it comes to things like the Coronavirus, a friend’s story from social media is not the most reliable source of information. More reliable sources for medical information include organizations such the Center for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control. If we consult reliable sources, we can prevent the spread of misinformation.
