Principal's Den
I hope you are all healthy and doing well. It is so great to have you all back!! We are all so excited here at Cloverdale to start another school year with the best students and families in our district. I want to remind you all of a few housekeeping duties we have at the beginning of the school year. Please make sure to complete your annual Parent Information Update. This is mandatory for all families and must be completed at the beginning of each year. If you need any assistance please contact our school office for support.
All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch, but it is very important that you all complete the lunch application in order for our district to be reimbursed.
Let me also remind you that if your child is not feeling well and is exhibiting and covid-like symptoms, it is important that they remain home. If you child tests positive for covid or is exposed to someone that has tested positive, please notify us for further directions.
Back to School - Our Back to School Night is this Friday, August 19th, at 5pm in our Multi-Purpose Room. We had our TK/Kindergarten back-to-school night on August 9th as a parent orientation. This Friday will be our Back to School for students in grades 1-5. Please contact your teacher or our office if you have any questions.
Thank you all for your continued support. Together we will work to make this the best school year for our lions! LEADERS BY EXAMPLE!!
Thank you,
At Cloverdale we strive to be Leaders by Example. As I mention to our students during announcements, this means that we always try to do the right thing even when no one is looking.
As part of our school's Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS), we also learn to ROAR. This is a matrix that exemplifies our core values of being Respectful, Organized, Accountable, and Responsible.
Our goal is to be college ready once we graduate from High School and that starts today!
Sincerely,
Genaro García
Principal
