Most everyone is aware that the Pfizer vaccine is starting to be administered to children ages 5-11. If your child receives this vaccination, please remember to either email or send me a copy. This information will be kept in your child’s school health record. When children have this medical documentation on file, then the additional mask wearing requirements for Modified Quarantine are no longer necessary. In other words, your child will still need to be observed for COVID-19 symptoms during their modified quarantine period, but they will not have to follow any additional mask requirements.
For more information on COVID-19 vaccine for children click here.
Wishing you safety and wellness,
