Boomerang Award

This year, Gayman will continue to accept nominations for the Boomerang Award, which is our way of honoring students who best demonstrate their own developmental assets. What are Developmental Assets? Students possessing a combination of “40 Assets” are typically most successful in school and in life. These assets have the power to influence choices young people make and help them become caring, responsible adults. For a complete listing of the 40 Developmental Assets visit: www.

April #25. Reading For Pleasure. Young person reads for pleasure most days of the week, either alone, with family members, or with friends. Boomerang nominations may be emailed to Suzanne Vass at, or printed out and sent into the office.

Welcome Samantha Schollenberger

We extend a warm welcome to Samantha Schollenberger, long term substitute for Cara Alderfer who is out on maternity leave until mid-May.

Samantha attended Kutztown University graduating with a degree in Art Education with a minor in crafts. Samantha's focus was mainly ceramics and metals, but enjoys all other mediums. Samantha went to school in Central Bucks from elementary school all the way until she graduated high school, and is looking forward to coming full circle and being a long-term sub for Gayman.
