Message from Dr. Frischkorn

Good Evening Mayfield!

This past week was the Interim report time for students as well as an opportunity for Parent/Teacher Conferences. It was fantastic to see so many families participating in parent conferences either in-person here at Mayfield of using Zoom to speak with the teachers about their child's success. It really takes a village to help make our Mayfield Bobcats successful. The better the connection between our school and our families will significantly increase our students' success. We love working with the families!

Congratulations to Our Vex Robotics Team on Competing in Their Competition Last Weekend

Our Mayfield Bobcat's VEX Robotics team competed last week in their first competition in two years! They have worked extremely hard on building their robots and learning how to complete the different challenges.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to our VEX Robotics coaches. Ms. Innamorato and Ms. Torres have spent hours supporting and guiding our students as they prepare for the competition.

Upcoming Assessment Schedule for Students

We have finished a significant amount of tests in the past three weeks. Students have completed CAM assessments in science, language arts, and math. Our English Language Learners have completed their WIDA Access assessment's reading and listening portion. Our ELL students will complete the writing and speaking portion on the WIDA Access assessment in the next couple of weeks.
