Be Patient.
There will be 3 cars able to get out at a time to return materials.
Families will return items to designated areas marked by signs. This will be NO CONTACT return, and families will place items in bins
A staff member will get your child(s)’ bag of materials that will be returned to you
To ensure a smooth, safe process, please limit your conversations and time outside of your vehicle.
If your schedule does not allow you to come to school on June 5 to drop off materials, you may also come to Glen Lake on Monday, June 8. If neither day works for you, please call Jeff Radel at 952-988-5201 to make other arrangements.
When you come to our school, please plan to reduce contact with others by practicing the CDC recommendation of social distancing of at least 6 feet. Thank you for your help in keeping our community and staff safe.
iPad housekeeping!
Before you bring your iPad in for collection, please help us with a couple housekeeping items.
First, update the iPad to the latest version of software. To do this, go to Settings -> General -> Software Upate. This update may take up to 45 minutes so doing this right at bedtime is a good way to do it. Start the install, then plug it in to power leaving it unlocked, and it will update.
Make sure you have the iPad in its case, the keyboard, and the original Apple charger and cable that came home with your iPad.
To help our staff check everything back in, please have a paper with the student(s) name(s) on it, and their grade, written as large as possible.
All Hopkins iPads and WiFi hotspots must be returned back to a district location by June 12, 2020. We are working over the summer to update, clean, and prepare all the student devices for the start of school this fall. If your family doesn’t have a computer at home we can provide you with a summer loaner. To find out more about this please call the Hopkins Schools Technology Department at 952-988-4111.
