- Fantastic team work on STAAR! It really does take the whole school family to pull off a smooth testing experience, and it was awesome!
- You may have seen Dr. Champion's video regarding the TRE. Our faculty meeting will be April 17, 7:15-7:45.
- As discussed recently by the ELL task force, please add a line item to each PLC agenda for 5-10 minutes of ELL Kid Talk - this can be discussing specific students' language acquisition, sharing LEP strategies with your team, etc.
- MAY AWARDS ASSEMBLIES - Will be similar to December awards, but with a few slight changes. Here is the schedule and the updates to read. Here is the awards template to copy and begin filling in. And here is a checklist to ensure that you are ready!
- The party bus for the Big Kahuna fundraiser will be on May 25th. Permission slips were sent home on Thursday 4/12 with qualifying students!

Monday 4/16 - Wear BLUE with jeans
- 3rd and 4th Math STAAR Simulation
- 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Curriculum Refresh teams off campus (Professional Learning and Standards only) - make sure to turn in Attendance form to Mary with school business
- 1:30-3:15 - 2nd grade PLC
- 1:30-2:00 - Volunteer song practice (kids will be called)
- 2:30-3:00 - 5th grade Strings performance for 4th-5th grades (cafeteria)
Tuesday 4/17 - Wear RED with jeans
- 7:15-7:45 - Staff Meeting (TRE) in library - required for all staff
- 3rd and 4th Reading STAAR Simulation
- 2:00-5:00 - Assessment, Create and Curate, P2L teams off campus (make sure to submit attendance form so we can figure out coverage)
- 2:00-3:00 - Volunteer Appreciation Program - Kids will be singing - see schedule to determine who to send from your class.
