The year is quickly coming to a close. This month our seniors will finish up their obligations to graduate from Morrice High School. What an exciting time! May is a busy month with a lot of activities going on. Please take some time to review the newsletter.
Counselors Corner
Students throughout the state of Michigan celebrate Decision Day 2019, as they commit to college, the armed forces, vocational school, or becoming part of the work force. We will celebrate Morrice High Schools "Decision Day" on Thursday, May 2nd with underclassmen, staff, and the elementary school.
Accuplacer testing for College placement will take place on May 16th, for Sophomores and Juniors who plan to enroll in college courses in the Fall.
Junior Presentations will be conducted on Thursday, May 21st . We will review the college admissions process, SAT retesting, teacher recommendations, as well as high school transcripts.
MORRICE FINE ARTS FAIR
Saturday, May 4, 2019
Who:
- All K-4 students, 5th-12th grade band and 7th-12th grade choir students will be performing.
- K-12th grade Art and 7th-12th grade Wood Shop students will present their work.
What:
- You will enjoy music, artwork, woodwork, face painting & henna. Root beer floats, pizza, drinks and hot dogs will be sold!

Our monthly SOAR winner is picked by who has earned the most SOAR awards that month. SOAR awards are given by staff for students making a positive impact on our school.

Shiawassee Arts Council Scholarship Show
Eight Morrice High School students (Cody Hedger, Jakob Hedger, Olivia Riley, Jade Nanasy, Rhianna Lucas, Amber Nanasy, Jordyn Cartier and Hayley Lademann) participated in the annual Shiawassee Arts Council Scholarship Show this past week. Six of our students won awards!!
Be sure to come out to the Fine Arts Festival on May 4, 10am-2pm, to see artwork from all of our students!!!
