Activities
For halloween some common activities done are trick or treating, back in the old days they made bonfires to scare away evil spirits, kids used to play pranks and to get them to stop they gave out candy so the term trick or treat came, and it began at end of harvest. For Dia De Los Muertos, they would clean graves, make alters or ofrendas, and make offerings to the dead.
View of death
Day of the dead is based around being happy about death and accepting it. They celebrate death and make offerings to the dead. Halloween is based around horror. They are scared of death and the dead.
