September 16 Community Newsletter
Dear parents and guardians,
Our first full week of school has concluded. Our students have adjusted to their classroom locations. High school students have met with their counselors to discuss any tweaks in their schedules. Teacher have practiced the routine and set the expectations that will carry the class through the year. Parents and guardians you should be receiving class syllabi this week.
We had our first school wide pep rally to celebrate the first official week of school. (The video will come out next week)
Hope to see many of you at our first home football game of the year tomorrow at 10:30. Go Herd!
Every week we will feature students discussing WHY they love Woodbury. I hope you enjoy the video below.
In partnership,
Principal Taylor

Food Services Update
Attention! Please watch a short video explaining important changes to the 2022/2023 School Meal Changes in English and Spanish.
Due to Federal waivers during the pandemic, all students’ meals were free regardless of their free/reduced status. Congress did not extend the waivers for the school year 2022/2023 so, Woodbury will be returning to paid lunch ($2.85 ES) and ($3.10 HS) for those students who are not eligible for meals through the free/reduced lunch program. As always, we will continue to serve free breakfast to all students in the district.
Attention Parents and Guardians of Woodbury City Public Schools- everyone must complete a new free/reduced meal application at the beginning of every school year to qualify for the free/reduced program. No students have been denied a meal because they didn't have money on their lunch account. If you have any questions or concerns please email smcguigan@woodburysch.com.
If you want to apply for the free/reduced benefits for your child/children for the 2022/2023 SY, please complete the following application: https://mealapp.lunchtimesoftware.net/ as soon as possible.
Thank you!
