Bus Safety

Please watch this 90-second important video produced by the Lake County Sheriff's Office reminding drivers to take precautions near school buses.

Reading Connection

Welcome Back to School! Don't forget to check out the monthly reading newsletter called, "Reading Connection." Highlights this month include: read-aloud favorites, "Fill Your Home with Words," "Books and the Great Outdoors," Read alouds for new readers, and "Let's do Research!"

Library Book Checkout

Each class participates in book checkouts weekly. EC and kindergarten students checkout one book each week, first-graders check out two books weekly, and second-graders check out three books each week. Please note your child's/children's weekly book checkout day/s, in order to support your child in returning library books on time, so that all children can enjoy the library's offerings. Thank you for your support! You can support your child by checking that their books are ready to be returned to school the night before. A great way to make sure books get back to school is to keep them in your child's backpack whenever they are not being read. Thank you for your support in keeping the books circulating and allowing children to get their hands on books they've been waiting to read!

Preschool & Kindergarten Game Night

Early childhood and kindergarten families are invited to Sprague's first game night of the school year from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13.

Come play at the Sprague playground and hardtop! Family members of all ages are welcome, so please feel free to bring siblings, grandparents, or anyone else in your family. This is an opportunity to meet other parents from your student’s class and grade! To keep the event safe and fun for everyone, please do not bring snacks. Pizza and bottled water will be provided. Please respond to the Game Night Google form to show your interest in attending the event.

School Reminders
