Are you an Oakland County public school educator working in an early childhood setting? Are you interested in learning with your colleagues as a team? Then check out this 3-Part Online Module Series that will be available beginning September 2016!
This Recommended Practices online series provides teams with a foundation in three of the recommended practices for service delivery in early childhood settings from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Division for Early Childhood (DEC). This series provides 9.5 hours of professional learning (9 SCECHs are pending) and covers the following three evidence-based practices for supporting our youngest learners in early childhood special education:
1- Teaming & Collaboration
2- Embedded Interventions
3- Literacy Development

How does my team access this online series?
To enroll in this series, each member of your team should join MiPLACE, the Michigan Professional learning and Collaboration Environment. Learners will need a Google email account to join MiPLACE.
Once each team member has joined, contact Lydia Moore at Lydia.Moore@oakland.k12.mi.us to enroll you and your team members for this series. Include your Google email addresses in your communication to Lydia.
