A Touch of Holland
One way that culture is put on display is through, of all things, pastries. People line up around the block to get their hands on cream horns, coffee cakes, and above all, Dutch letters. That means it's all hands on deck at Jaarsma Bakery to prepare the treats.
After leaving their meeting with a prospect in Pella on Wednesday, Julie Thien and Melissa Farris took a few moments to stop and enjoy this festival. Julie took full advantage of the bakery and walked out with a few treats of her own.
