What's Happening in February 11-22, 2019?

Students are encouraged to collect 'Pennies For Patients' until Friday February 15.

For your child to participate in the Art Night families can pay by check ,money-order or with any major credit card when entering the event. $5 participation checks or money-orders should be made payable to Franklin Academy. The child's name, grade and event title ie Art Night should be included on the memo.

Please continue to have your child(ren) bring their gently used toys for those children in need. We are grateful for your kindness, generosity and support for our Love Me Again Toy Drive.

Presidents Day is on Monday February 18; there will be no school for students and our offices will be closed.
Our K-5 students will be 'early released' at 11:15am on Thursday Februay 21, and our grades 6-8 students will be released at 12:15pm. The AfterSchool Connections program will remain open until 6pm for all eligible students.
Yearbooks are on sale for $45. The deadline to purchase is Friday February 22.
Pembroke Pines' 2nd Annual Student Art Competition

The City of Pembroke Pines is having their 2nd Annual Student Art Competition on March 9th at 1pm, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center.
Students residing or attending school in Kindergarten to 12th grade in the City of Pembroke Pines are eligible to participate in the contest.
Art Competition winners will receive gift cards ranging from $25 to $100.
Deadline to submit artwork is Saturday, February 23 by 2pm.
