Open Meeting at 6 p.m. November 7

On Monday, November 7th at 6:00 pm there will be an open meeting at the Fellowship and on Zoom regarding the UUFL program policy stated below. Everyone will have a chance to share their point of view about the policy without fear of being ridiculed or debated:

“The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Longview encourages a broad diversity of programming. Only programs that are political or hate-mongering will be banned. If a UUFL member would like a program removed from the schedule, he/she should request the UUFL Board of Directors review it. A simple majority vote of the Board will determine if the program content is political or hate-mongering. If so, the UUFL Board will prohibit the program. Otherwise, the program will be allowed.”

Seeking speaker volunteers

UUFL is asking for people to volunteer to do short presentations (10 min. or so) about the evolution of their belief system. If interested, email cmwest2012@gmail.com.
