Ready-Set-Go!
This is my 22nd year at Willow and only one other time have we had rain on the first day... and your children were still great! I'm glad that so many of you were able to come on Wednesday with your Wildcat and meet the staff. The students have adapted well this week and most are already in the school groove. Thanks for your help reinforcing all things Willow at home with them! In case you missed coming in Wed, I have included some pictures at the bottom of what it looks like to walk our hallways.
Please be sure to check your child's folders each night. Most teachers also send a classroom newsletter, so keeping an eye on email is important. This Parent Bulletin will come out every Friday evening. I try to include building and community happenings for you since we know our kids are more successful when we are all working together!

Communication:
One of the things you will find is that you get A LOT of communication from us (the District, the Office and your child's teacher). The success of your Wildcat depends on all of us working together and being on the same page. Please be sure to read what comes home as we include important dates, changes and announcements.
That said, please know and respect that your child's teacher does have a family outside of school that deserves his/her time and attention. You can expect a return call or email within 24 hours unless there is an extenuating circumstance. We will also not interrupt a teacher during the day while students are learning. If you need an answer sooner than that, please direct your concern to the office. Thanks!
