STATE FAIR 4-H PROJECT PICK-UP
The Washington County 4-H Projects that made the trip to the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island will be ready for pick up on
Wednesday, September 7 – Friday, September 9
8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Nebraska Extension Office in Washington County, 597 Grant Street, Blair
We are asking that you pick up your projects by Friday, September 9 by 5:00 p.m.
Our office has limited space, so we really need ALL projects to be picked up the end of the week.
Also, most of the foods and horticulture projects will still have ribbons and comment sheets to be picked up so stop by to get them as well.
Direct Your Dollars.. To 4-H!!
Turn in your Family Fare and Econofoods receipts (and encourage your friends and family to do the same) to the Washington County 4-H Council (501c3) and help us earn $1,000. The drop off container is located at the Nebraska Extension Office in Washington County, 597 Grant Street, Suite 200, Blair. If you aren’t able to drop your receipts off in person, you can also mail them to the same address. For every $150,000 in receipts you submit, the Washington County 4-H Council will earn $1,000 check from SpartanNash. With your support – and your receipts – 4-H Council will use towards scholarship, awards, contest, events, programming and more. Through the Direct Your Dollars program, we can turn YOUR Family Fare and Econofoods receipts into cash for the 4-H Program!

MCH Rummage Sale - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
STATEWIDE 4-H ACTIVITIES
House Hold Pets Clinic- October 8th: 9 Am-Noon, Lancaster County Extension Office
This event is open to all youth ages 8 and up and their families. There will be guest speakers, a raffle, information on how to sign up for 4-H with your household pet and so much more!! Cost is $2/ family, which includes 3 free raffle tickets. So bring your critter or just come for a morning of great information and fun!
