Amazing McClure Families-
We had a great week and enjoyed being back with our Marshal students.
This coming week we will begin our MAP testing for middle of the year assessments. All students in K-5, including virtual students, will be taking the MAP Growth tests. This test measures what students know and what they are ready to learn, regardless of their grade level. It provides teachers with an opportunity to use the scores to inform instruction, personalize learning, and monitor the growth of individual students. Please refer to your teacher's newsletter for the dates they will be taking their MAP tests over the next few weeks.
Please keep in mind that MAP Growth scores are just one data point that teachers use to determine how a student is performing, but we do encourage all of our students to do their very best to meet their personal goals. Please encourage your child to take their time and do their very best on this assessment. We appreciate all you do to support them and our staff!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Harrison

She and her husband Roger have been married for 29 years and are active members of Stonebridge United Methodist Church. Roger works for Simpson Strong-Tie. Their two children were educated in McKinney Independent School District. Mrs. Dankel earned a Master of Education majoring in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Millsaps College.
