Resurrection Golf Scramble
August 10, 2019
We need all staff to help!
As you all know, we are in need of some updated technology at Resurrection. How exciting would it be to not have to create or follow that three-week iLearn schedule, because we have more technology at hand?
One fundraiser we have to help improve our technology is the Golf Scramble. Wait! Wait! Wait! Don't be like I used to be. Don't stop reading just because you don't golf!!! There are other ways you can help! We are reaching out to the staff for a little extra help this year. We are asking each of you to try to get either one hole sponsor or a team to play. I know that there are so many of you that have friends or loved ones who own businesses. There may be some that Michele, Jewell, Allison, or myself may not know to ask, but you do. We feel like the more people we have to help, the more of a profit we can have for the school. It could also be as simple as getting four friends or family members to donate $25 a piece to get the $100 hole sponsor.
We got permission to give out free dress passes (I mean, who doesn't love to wear tennis shoes to work?!) for any of you who do any one of the following:
1) Get a $100 hole sponsor (from a business or individual)
2) Get a team together
3) Get donations from businesses for prize giveaways for the golfers
Last year, we made $7,000 with only four of us helping get the donations and sponsors. Imagine how much more we can make if each of you were able to even get one more sponsor or team together!
Please email Michele Baumgartner @ mbaumgartner@evdio.org if you are able to help us out. We appreciate it so much! See the attached flyer for more details.
Thanks.
