Sexual Trauma Workshop
The new date has been set ...on Wednesday the 28th @ 5p.m. in the Chapel
I will be doing a sexual trauma workshop, Where we will be open up to discuss what exactly is sexual trauma, who actually experience It, the characteristics and effects, and ways we can heal from this trauma... A lot goes unsaid about this topic because society trains us to feel ashamed about it, we cover it up and pretend it doesn't happen
It's hard enough to feel rejected by the body the last thing we need to do is reject these people who are in need of a voice
I'm hoping to create space to overcome the stigma of sexual trauma and allow truth to shine on this subject so those who are consciously and subconsciously traumatized will feel that there is a way back to themselves without being judged for their suffering.
It will be followed by a trauma-sensitive asana practice that empowers and reconnect self to the body.
Hope to see you there

Join us for a night of queer poems and stories!
The event will start out with a brief presentation of Kye Davolt's senior project, the Mothmilk Zine Anthology: a full-length book of queer and trans stories & art including the work of 40 contributors, over half of which are past or present PC students! The first half of the evening will be featuring students whose writing appears in the anthology, followed by an open mic.
There will be screen-printed patches and zines for sale as well as a donation box to help raise money to print the anthology.
If you are unable to make it but you'd still like to support this project, you can preorder a copy of the book and/or donate at www.gofundme.com/mothmilkanthology
After the event, follow us to the pink house for more shenanigans & dancing! fb event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/226926091201413/
