Be Kind: In Relationships
Throughout the month of February, your child will participate in lessons and activities promoting kindness to others. We will discuss and evaluate the qualities that are important in a friendship as well as the power of generosity and kindness between others.
Love More Campaign
February 8th- February 12th
The "Love More" campaign is an opportunity to show more love to ourselves, one another and our community. This week will be a combination of dress up days and interactive activities for our students, families and staff. Join us us as we celebrate ways to LOVE MORE! Free Meals for Families
Virtual learners in GPISD can pick up free curbside meals Monday through Friday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at five campus locations: Moseley Elementary School, Fannin Middle School, Crosswinds Accelerated High School, South Grand Prairie High School, and Young Women’s Leadership Academy. Feb. 8 Love is... Crazy Fun: Wear your craziest hair and mismatched clothes.
Feb. 9 Love is... Making Someone's Day: Can you make someone's day a little brighter? Share with a friend or family member something you love about them.
Feb. 10 Love is .. Lending a Helping Hand: There are so many ways we can help others. Can you think of a way that you can lend a helping hand?
Feb. 11 Love is ... Sharing Joy: Make a friend or family member laugh with your favorite joke, or spend time with them doing something you love.
Feb. 12 Love is... Sharing Your Heart: Wear red, pink, and/or hearts today!
