OLM May Procession: May 10th at 2PM
8th Grade: Their class picture in graduation robe will be taken before the May procession. Boys need to wear a dress shirt and tie. They wear their long khaki pants, school shoes, and socks. Girls will wear their uniform skirts and a nice shirt/blouse to complement their robe with flat dress shoes or sandals. Sandals / shoes must have backs. No socks. Please try to carefully press their robes to remove the creases.
6th Grade: Sixth graders will wear their Confirmation robes over their school uniform: boys - school shirt, long khaki pants, school shoes, and socks & girls - school shirt, skirt with school shoes and socks.
2nd Grade: Second graders will wear their Communion attire. Students should wear their school uniforms to school. They will change into their Communion attire during lunch recess. Parent volunteers will be needed to supervise this and to assist students in getting ready. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact your child's teacher.
Kindergarten: Students in kindergarten will wear their "Sunday Best".
All other grades: Students are to wear their school uniform. Girls are to wear their jumpers/skirt and boys are to wear long pants.
No student is permitted to wear shorts.
Congratulations to our First Communicants
Lord Jesus,
Bless the children coming forward to receive Holy Communion for the first time. May this day be an initial step into a life-long love of the Eucharist. Give them a hunger for this sacred food so that they turn to you for comfort, guidance, and wisdom as they grow in full discipleship. Thank you for their innocence and goodness. May their hands, extended in anticipation of your Body and Blood, inspire all of us to cherish this sacred sacrament. AMEN.
Virtue of the Month: GENTLENESS
Our virtue of the month of May is GENTLENESS. Students will learn more completely that gentleness is a listening ear and a merciful smile. Gentleness includes true humility that does not consider itself too good or too exalted for humble tasks. Students will be recognized at the School Liturgy on Friday, June 17th.
Saint Rita, so gentle, pure and patient, obtain for me from thy Crucified Christ my request (mention it here). Be kind to me, for the greater glory of God, and I promise to honor you and to sing your praises forever.
Oh glorious St. Rita, who did miraculously participate in the sorrowful Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ, protect me in all my needs. Amen

Two parent volunteers must be on-duty in the school yard - before the playground is open. This ensures the safety of ALL. Our active volunteer program not only provides valuable hands-on assistance through the school, but also benefits the children by reinforcing ties between the children’s individual homes as well as the community at large, and the school. The Lunch/Recess Duty Volunteer program is a great way to volunteer and become involved at the school.
