Background Checks for Volunteers/Visits
Before we close out the 2017-18 school year, there are many study (field) trips, field days and special classroom programs scheduled. For those parents and family members who want to volunteer or take part, please remember a SafeVisitor background check is required.
Once your background check is completed and cleared, you are allowed to visit or volunteer at our schools for three years. You will also receive a “SafeVisitor Badge” via email from info@safevisitorsolutions.com that can be used to expedite the sign-in process at all HSE Schools. The process also includes our anti-bullying training that is required by state law.
When visiting, please have ready either a hard copy of your SafeVisitor badge or simply pull the badge up on your smartphone. The school receptionist will scan the barcode on your badge and print out a name tag for you to wear while in the building. Please remember to turn in your name tag when you check out of the building.
