Welcome Back!
I am excited to welcome everyone back to school after what I hope was a long, restful week! It's hard to believe that the 4th quarter begins this Friday. It feels like just yesterday when our school leadership team was planning how we were going to open this school in the midst of a global pandemic. Our students and staff have done an amazing job this year. Our teachers have learned how to teach within parameters that are not natural for them. Our students have discovered new ways of learning and working within the family model, a concept that was completely foreign to them.
Although we are unsure what school will look like in the fall, what rules and parameters will be in place to ensure safety for everyone, I am sure of one thing...whatever it is, our school community will be prepared to handle it. I look forward to successfully completing the next 9 weeks! As a reminder, if you ever have questions or concerns about your child or KTES, I encourage you to contact me or either of our Assistant Principals. We are always available for our school community.
Yours in Education,
Jocelyn Young
