Haiti Food Supply

By Sadie, Bailey, and Jazmine

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western hemisphere, with 80 percent of the population living below the poverty line.

How We Help

-We have built nearly 23,898 double unit homes in Haiti

-Since the 2010 earthquake we have built more than 5900 homes

-We have installed 624 waterwells

Three-quarters of Haiti’s population of 10 million live on less than $2 a day and many Haitians spend the bulk of their income on food. Even a slight increase in food prices can leave hundreds of thousands of families too poor to buy enough food.
