SLE GT LEAD Updates

January 4, 2016

Happy New Year!

Wow! I cannot believe it's January! I hope each of you had a wonderful holiday break full of family, friends, and lots of laughter! I spent Christmas with my family in Ohio and New Year's Eve with my husband's family who came up from San Antonio and Brownsville to celebrate with us. I so enjoyed our break, but I'm also excited to be getting back into the swing of things with my GT LEADers! Second semester is going to be fantastic!

Self-Advocacy for Tweens

In December, I talked to 5th graders about respectful self-advocacy. This is an excellent blog post detailing the in's and out's of how to take that step! Please share and discuss this with your 5th (and even 4th) graders!
