Forest Park's Parent Teacher Conferences will be on Thursday March 31st. Parents/guardians will receive an email at 3:15pm tomorrow which will include instructions and link for signing up for conferences.

LAST CALL! Superintendent Search Survey Closes Today 3/14

As shared to all families over the last few weeks, we are actively collecting feedback for our Superintendent Search that is being conducted by School Exec Connect in partnership with our Board of Education. We emailed all district families about our Superintendent Search Survey and that survey is only open until the end of the day, TODAY - Monday, March 14th. If you have not yet completed the survey, please do as we would like to collect as much feedback from families, staff and community members as we can to help inform the candidate profile that is being created for the search. Covid-19 On-Site Testing Information


FPS continues to partner with Summit Clinical Labs to offer On-Site COVID-19 Testing for students, families, and staff. This document contains updated information about where our current testing stations are set up if you need testing. This also includes the details listed below for testing opportunities before, during, and after Spring Break.


  • This week (Tues 3/15 to Fri 3/18), in addition to our FHS and FPMS testing sites, we are offering testing at the ECC District Office from 7:30a-9a for those families and staff that need access to testing prior to Spring Break for verification, seeing family, travel, or for symptoms of illness.

  • During Spring Break (Mon 3/21 through Fri 3/25), On-Site COVID-19 Testing provided by Summit Clinical Labs will only be available at the ECC District Office from 8a-4p.

  • After Spring Break (Mon 3/28 to Thurs 3/31), we will also offer testing at the ECC District Office from 7:30a-9a.

Billy Sims will be donating 10% of all sales for the day on Thursday 3/17/22 to UMPS. Proceeds support the United Music Parents scholarships and general fund. UMPS is the booster group that helps support our music programs in grades 6-12.

FEF Spring Children's Consignment Sale at Forest Park

Calling all consignors, volunteers and savvy shoppers! The Foundation is once again hosting its semi-annual children's consignment sale and they are looking for more volunteers to help on Friday, April 1, and Saturday, April 2. There are also a few more spots for sellers for those interested in cleaning out closets for a little cash. BSA Troop 539 Recruiting

BSA Troop 539 based out of Forest Park Middle School is starting a new girls Troop and is recruiting new Scouts. This opportunity is open to all youths, 5th grade and older. To learn more about this opportunity please come to our recruitment night on 4/7 at 6:30pm at Forest Park Middle School. Parent Drop off & Pick Up Reminders

Earlier this year, we shared videos for morning drop-off and pick-up procedures. For drop off and pick up please continue to use the loop through our overflow parking lot. When there is snow, the cones that mark the loop are removed. Please continue to form the loop even when the cones are not present. Continuing to have the extra loop through the parking lot helps us move traffic off of Forest Hill Avenue.

For morning drop-off, please remember to allow the outside lane to be clear of standing traffic so that teachers can use the outside lane to access the staff parking lot. For additional information about our procedures please see the following video.

Don't Forget Your Coat

All students will continue to go outside for recess even as the weather gets colder. The decision to have an outdoor or indoor recess is based on both the wind speed and temperature. Students do not go outdoors if it is raining/snowing or if the temperature falls below 0 degrees wind chill. Please encourage your students to dress appropriately as they will continue to go outside for recess. This includes bringing a coat, hat and gloves.

Did Your Student Lose Their Student ID?

Students can purchase a new student ID by bringing $5 (cash only!) to the main office. Student IDs take approximately one week to get printed/shipped to us from the photography company. Once we receive the replacement we will get the new ID to your student.


Our registration is now open for next school year for new families to the district and next year’s 4K. You can find all the necessary details on our website here. Please note that students already enrolled in our schools do not have to have a new registration completed. You may utilize the “Create Account” and “Forgot Password” buttons on the registration page to complete your registration or gain access if you have created an account in the past. Please help us share that registration is open with any new families to the area or those with younger children that would be entering 4K or 5K!

Absence Notification Procedures

Please remember to use our attendance form for ANY attendance related notification including students leaving early, arriving late or full day absences.

Like last year, we will be asking parents/guardians to use THIS FORM to report student absences. The attendance form is also located as a button on the main school webpage and under the “Parents Information” section.

This form will require you to enter your child’s six-digit student ID number and birthdate before you can report your child absent. Student specific medical information collected by the form will remain confidential and only be shared within the health and nursing services team.

Early Dismissals & Late Arrivals

If you come to pick up your student during the school day, we ask that you do not enter our building but instead pull up into the circle driveway outside of our main office. Your student will be watching for you and we will send them out to your car when they see that you have arrived. If you are waiting longer than a few minutes for your student, you may call our main office to check in (414-529-8250).

If you are dropping your student off late for any reason, you do not need to come into the school with your student. Please pull into our circle driveway outside of the main office where your student can enter and check in. We will give your student a pass to class and update their attendance at that time.

Please remember to use THIS FORM for ANY attendance related notification including students leaving early, arriving late or full day absences. Please do not send notes with your student to notify us of these changes.

Dropping something off for your student?

If you are dropping off a forgotten item for your student (lunch, Chromebook, etc.), please use our drop off cart located inside the main entrance near the office. To limit the amount of traffic in/out of our main office, we ask that you leave the item(s) on the cart and clearly label the item(s) with your student's first and last name. Post it notes and pens are provided on the cart.

In an effort to reduce the amount of interruptions to students and teachers in the classroom, most items will be delivered to students during their 3rd hour class unless the item is clearly needed right away (for example, the student's Chromebook). If an item is dropped off after 3rd hour, we will get the item to the student as soon as possible.
