Sunday April 15th Gospel Reading Luke 24:35-48
Jesus appears again to his disciples and shares a meal with them.
Family Connection
Family life is strengthened through storytelling and shared meal times. In a similar way, the Christian life is sustained by God’s word in Scripture and by Christ’s presence in the Eucharist. We are especially sustained in our faith through our weekly celebration of Mass. Today’s Gospel reading reminds us that the Scripture and the Eucharist are given to us so that our acts of bearing witness to Christ might be strengthened.
As you gather as a family, ask each person to share their favorite story about your family. Recall that these stories and meals strengthen the love you share. In a similar way, our Christian life is strengthened by sharing God’s Word and the Eucharist at Mass. The Eucharist also sends us to be Christ’s witnesses in the world today. - For more information check out https://www.loyolapress.com/our-catholic-faith/liturgical-year/sunday-connection

As you may or may not know the Fine Arts Program is fundraising for our show "Another High School Musical". These students have already put in so much time and effort into creating and perfecting a musical that was created from scratch. On top of that, if you have seen our rehearsal schedule you know how many hours they will be putting in between now and June 7th.
Attached, please find the order form for VIP Foods. If you would like to order, you can complete this form and send it with a cheque to the school office. Alternatively, Mrs. Cross, Miss Cava, and Ms. Labrecque all have order forms and can provide you with one. Orders are due by April 26. Please consider supporting the growth and development of our Fine Arts Program as we move to St. Andre next year!
WELLNESS
Promoting Positive Mental Health
Having a shared language and common understandings around mental health and mental illness helps us to work towards healthy and inclusive school communities.
Our staff and students have watched this video and it does a great job at explaining how we can promote positive mental health by finding a shared language.
