This and That
Guided Reading
We have had a lot of weird schedules, days off, late starts, etc... The one thing that should never be skipped or missed on any day is Guided Reading. That time is sacred - it HAS to be done everyday for 60 minutes (3 groups).
If you are not doing guided reading according to the scheduled time you turned in at the beginning of the year, please update it and let me know.
Observations
Observations continue in all areas! Math walk-throughs (first round) are almost complete. I will continue to get into classrooms to see math, reading, morning meeting, and any other subject I can as often as I can. Feedback on teaching is continual. There is no "magic" number of observations to be finished for a school year.
iReady Licenses
Now that iReady diagnostics are complete, make sure your students who have an iReady license are using it! 45 minutes a week is the goal! We have some additional licenses remaining. If you want one assigned, you must make sure your students are going to use it!
Classroom Doors and Valuables
Classroom doors should be locked when you are not in your classroom. Chromebooks carts that are stored in the hallway should be locked when not in use. Personal items should be put away, and if possible locked.
SMART Board Filters
Clean at least once a week - FILTER FRIDAY! If you have not cleaned them yet - do so! If you don't know how - ask Jen Bearden for help!
Grades in Infinite Campus
Put in grades twice a month (approximately the 15th and 30th).
Birthday and Lounge Duty
School Success Squad assigned birthday treats and lounge duty for the year. If your grade level or team is on the duty for the month, please also have your students make some art work or cards for our business partners (Scholastic, Missouri River Regional Library, and Oasis United Church of Christ). The schedule is included below.

Health Screening Information
The purpose for offering health screens is for everyone to receive information on their current health.
