Mr. B's Bright Lights
Proud of our students' work on the assessments!
Reading with a pal, nothing better.
In 5K, at this time of year, many of our students are getting the idea of what reading truly means. Here is an example of pair-share, where the children give each other an idea about the story. This activity happens throughout our school in all grade levels, with all types of books.
Take a closer look next time you visit!
When you walk in our main entrance, there is some terrific art work on display. Mrs. Thelan does a wonderful job of showing off the work of her students. I hope you will take a moment to enjoy the talents of these children. There are two filled bulletin boards there for you to enjoy.
What color!

Chinese Jump Rope Jumper
Here's one of our second graders, with the help of a classmates on each end, getting a little air while jumping at recess. New Chinese jump ropes were purchased with PTO funds to help the kids with a different kind of activity from regular jump ropes. Nice goin!
Final Assembly of the year
We closed out the assemblies for the year by celebrating the departure of our fourth graders. Mr. Budisch announced each student's name and he/she stood up to be recognized. We also watch a video about how to treat each other with a little more respect. "It's for the Birds" is a pixar production if you would like to see it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjoDEQqyTig&feature=em-subs_digest-vrecs
