Weekly C.U.B.

Central Update Bulletin - Issue 18

Password Change

To enhance security, all staff will be made to change their CFB passwords. When you log onto the network Tuesday morning, you will receive a message to change your password.

For the process to work as expected, please log off and shutdown your computers Monday evening when you leave.

You will need to reset up your password on your devices as well. Below are links to helpful guides to do this.

In addition if any of your devices use Wifi as staff, those will also need to have your new password added. Hopefully this advanced notice will allow you to be prepared on Tuesday. Let us know if you have any questions.

SNAP Meetings

SNAP Meetings were originally scheduled for this week, but due to wanting updated MAP scores we have postponed them until the week of February 8th. We hope this extra time will allow for us to have the most updated information and be able to make the best choices for our students. If you feel you have concerns which cannot wait until then please let us know.

AMP Time

Our first week of AMP was very productive! Thank you to 1st, 2nd, and Kinder for their thoughtful goals and actionable steps to help us achieve them.

Please be prepared to discuss your plans to achieve your grade level goals this semester and what needs you and your team may have as well to achieve these goals. These goals should be specific and actionable based on the needs of your students as a grade level whole. Please discuss this with your teams prior to the AMP time. We are looking forward to hearing your goals and how we can help.

Focus Point: Makerspaces

Mrs. Romero has been hard at work developing a Makerspace for our students/staff to enjoy and learn from. She has begun to introduce the space to some students and classes and the response from the students has been amazing. Some teachers have been wondering what a Makerspace is and this is a quick video to help answer such a question. Mrs. Romero will be doing a preview for everyone on January 19th at our Staff Development.

We are still trying to acquire more Lego's. If you or someone you know has some they would like to donate to the students of Central, we would be more than appreciative! If you haven't been by to play on the Lego wall you are missing out, so stop on by!!!

What is a MakerSpace?
