Warrior Life
What a great week and beautiful weather we have had this week! Our Warriors have been participating in some fun and interactive activities that their teachers have worked hard to plan. This week Mrs. Hargrove's 8th grade math class participated in a gallery walk as they were learning about direct variations and proportional & non-proportional relationships. Ms. Medina's Spanish students presented to their classes about themselves and their interest. Ms. Dumesnil's 8th grade history classes finished up their lesson on the various types of representative governments and how they helped shape our U.S. constitution. They created crowns describing and illustrating the various representative governments leading up the constitution. Mrs. Littlejohn's Broadcasting students could also be seen out in the hallway as they practice their news reporting skills.
This week our Lady Warrior volleyball team had their first game against Lancaster. Our Lady Warriors played hard and all of our teams walked away with a win this week. Our Warrior Book Club met this week for the first time as well as they began discussing their first book that they were going to read and discuss.
We are very proud of our Warriors and the great job they are doing! We look forward to another great week!
Go Warriors!!
Warrior Teacher of Week
Student of the Week
This week we would like to recognize Zaydee Lay as our 7th grade Warrior of the Week! Along with being a great student, Zaydee is involved in girls atheletics and theater arts. Her teachers describe her as a hard worker. She is always willing to help her fellow classmates as well.
This week we would like to recognize Aris Young as our 8th grade Warrior of the Week! Aris is currently on our football team, but also challenges himself in the classroom as he is enrolled in our Algebra I course. Aris was nominated because of his constant respect he shows towards his peers and teachers. He is described as being a hard worker with a positive attitude.
We are very proud these Warriors and how they model the Warrior Way in all that they do!
