Gulf Elementary School 2021-2022

A Message from GES Administration
Our students have adjusted well and are right back in the groove of things. We are amazed by their resilience and ability to overcome the challenges that the last few school years have brought. They show up ready to learn everyday! We truly appreciate all of our Gulf families entrusting us with your your child. We appreciate your patience as we do our best to keep our GES family safe.
During the first month, students have been taught school wide expectations and began building classroom communities. Students and teachers have worked hard in completing beginning of the year Reading and Math assessments, so we can begin to differentiate and tailor instruction for whole and small groups.
As always, please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
Stay well,

Happy Retirement Mrs. Hilbert
After 25 years teaching in Lee County with 24 of those years teaching Kindergarten at Gulf Elementary, Mrs. Hilbert will walk the red hallway one more time on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.
It takes a good heart to teach, but to see a child’s life transform takes patience and love. You have helped transform the lives of many young people. If only we would be able to call their names, the list would be endless!
We are grateful for the time and effort that you have put into teaching for all these years. We wish you a happy retirement filled with joy and happiness.
