From the fabulous folks at Pencil Box...
Dear MNPS Educator,
The LP PENCIL Box has some exciting opportunities that we would love to invite you to participate in:
We have moved. Starting this fall, our new address will be 7199 Cockrill Bend Blvd., Nashville, 37209. While the move has been an adventure, the new space is going to allow the PENCIL Box to be open more often, and we will be doubling the amount of shopping trips for teachers to once every 9-weeks.
We are looking for a Teacher Ambassador to be our cheerleader and connector to each school. If you are interested in spreading the good news about the LP PENCIL Box, please fill out our application here. We will have a small committee of volunteers that select 1 ambassador from each school.
The LP PENCIL Box is part of a national organization of free resource centers as members of the Kids in Need Foundation. One of our national partners JoAnn Fabrics is giving out fabulous prizes to teachers who are willing to share their story.
Until April 27th, we will be celebrating #HowMuch teachers are able to accomplish with Kids In Need school supplies! We want to hear teacher’s real-life examples of the impact school supplies have made on their students because of Kids In Need. We are looking for meaningful and heartfelt stories. This could be the story of one child, an entire school, or a community. https://www.kinf.org/contest/
PRIZES: Each of the first 1,000 qualified entrants will receive a $10 JOANN gift card just for entering! Three first prize winners will receive a Teacher Toolbox containing $500 worth of supplies. And the grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to the "Night of A Billion Stars" Gala in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Winners will be announced during Teacher Appreciation Week!
We hope you have a wonderful end of your school year and look forward to serving you next year at our new LP PENCIL Box.
-Joel
