Gallon Guy/Girl Math Activity

Your child brought home a special activity to do with you at home to aid in identifying cups, pints, quarts, and gallons. Instructions are included and the photo above should also give you a better idea of what it should look like. When completed, it should fold flat onto the blue gallon sheet. Please return it in your child's red folder on Monday to be displayed in the classroom. Children may decorate the head to make it a boy or girl!

Another educational activity would be to have your child pour water into containers of various sizes and predict how many cups it would take to fill a pint, quart or gallon.

Jackets, Sweaters & Water bottles

As the weather changes, please send in a jacket or sweater with your child. It's a good idea to write your child's name on the inside. Only items fitting the dress code can be worn in the classroom. Also, please remember to send in a filled water bottle with your child every day to have in the classroom in addition to the one for lunch. Thank you!
